Studebakers was opened in 1999 by chef Tony Syrocki as a throwback to simpler times, like when we could work on our own car’s. After 35 years spent in New york, Chicago and Florida as an corporate executive chef he yearned to create a simpler dining experience. He created Studebakers with 3 things in mind, create simple authentic fresh meals from scratch, give great value and generous portions, treat the customers like family. Years have passed and chef Tony is semi retired although he still makes it in at 5am to make his sauces and desserts when he’s not fishing (Tony put the boat in the water already its been years and you won’t catch fish in dry storage). Chef Tony also is gracious enough to stop by and give his nephew Jon(thats me) a piece of his mind if he see’s something not up to his standards. Come join us and remember what Chef Tony taught me “Good food comes from the heart”.
